Prof. Rikky Muller has been selected to receive the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) Gilbreth Lectureship. The Gilbreth Lectures were established in 2001 by the Council of the National Academy of Engineering as a means of recognizing outstanding young American engineers and making them more visible to the NAE membership. Prof. Muller gave her lecture at the 2017 Global Grand Challenges Summit in Washington, D.C. She received the award from the president of the NAE, Dr. Dan Mote, and Charles Darwin (pictured above) at the National Academy of Sciences building.
